Primary duties include handling all legal issues related to residential real estate and condominium law, homeowner’s law and related business litigation including contracts, document review, attendance at annual and Board meetings and litigation/mediation/arbitration matters. In addition to typical litigation paralegal responsibilities, this position will be heavily involved with mass tort and medical malpractice matters wherein medical terminology is a key aspect. This position will also assist in working on medical product liability cases or other cases that require nursing expertise.
3+ years of prior legal nurse consulting or nurse paralegal experience is required – plaintiff or defense. Prior nursing experience MUST have been in ICU, CCU, MedSurg or ER. Degree required – either Bachelor’s or paralegal certificate.

Solid experience in patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and copyright work is mandatory.
